Obituary for Elsie Christine Shook (Laughter)
Elsie Laughter Shook, age 71, of Brevard, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Georgia Greene Laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Shook, one son, Darren Shook, one daughter, Chantel Shook, two brothers, George and Brison Laughter and one sister, Marion Galloway.
Mrs. Shook enjoyed painting, sewing, embroidering and baking. She was a wonderful mother, sister and grandmother who cared for all.
Survivors include one son, Wesley Shook and wife Pam of Brevard, granddaughter, Bethany Shook, one great granddaughter, Scarlett Hughes, four sisters, Faye Renneker of Lansing, MI, Libby Walden and husband Lamar of E. Lansing, MI, Nell Teal of Cowpens, SC and Mary Bowling and husband Roger of Brevard, many nieces and nephews and her beloved companion, “Lucky”.
The family will receive friends 11am – 12noon, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
